Between the Homeland Security restrictions on liquids, and the airline's new game of charging for each time you blink, going on a trip with an ample supply of grooming products has become almost impossible. Who wants to pay $25 to check a bag, just so you'll be sure to have enough shampoo? I've aquired the art of stretching my 2 ounce shampoo ration so it will last up to a week, but for plenty of people with longer hair that isn't going to work.
One possible solution is Paper Shampoo. The single-use sheets are designed to dissolve into a lather when you mix them with water, and they supposedly work even if you're using sea water. They also have a minty fragrance, which quite honestly doesn't help much in selling them to me. After all, who wants their hair to smell like a Thin Mint? Personally, I think I'll stick with motel brand shampoo on those bad hair days.
Paper Shampoo is available now in boxes of 30 sheets, which are sold in packs of two for $12.50

Or you could just wash your hair with a soap bar.

Isn't it a simple soap?

just don't confuse it with your mouthwash papers, dude.

Why pay $12.50 when a regular bottle of shampoo costs $2? Unless you are going to some god-forsaken place, just swing by the store and get regular shampoo.

i have a DRASTIC solution for the writer. are you ready? are you?

Don't confuse a soap with a detergent, shampoo is a detergent.
Shampoo is a detergent. If you're traveling to a place where you have time to wash your hair, how hard is it just to buy a bottle when you arrive?

May I suggest the solid shampoo bars made by Lush (www.Lush.com) They are delightful and very long-lasting. I think there may be one made by Neutrogena, which is widely available in drugstores.

Um, if you can make shampoo into a sheet of 'paper,' why can't you make explosives into a sheet of 'paper?' Dumb rules, that mean and do nothing.

and for you travelers that love your bottled water! I have dehydrated water tablets. I'll give you the same deal, twin pack of 30 tablets for 12.50

Call me a freak, but my peppermint shampoo is my favorite. I condition with vanilla, and I smell like candy all day. I love it.
I think the product is clever and useful, but I just run to the drugstore and grab a couple $1 travel size products to supplement when I reach my destination.
