Get your lazy father a Gevalia Self-Stirring Mug this Sunday

Gevalia-Stir-Mug.jpgOkay, okay, maybe your father isn't lazy. Maybe you're pretty mad at me right now. But, hey, he's a hard worker, right? And a hard worker shouldn't have to work hard to stir a cup of coffee, or cocoa, or what have you. That's why he'd appreciate one of these Gevalia Stir Mugs — y'know, unless he looks at it and thinks you're trying to tell him he's lazy.

The mug is insulated stainless steel and really knows how to sell its self-stirring gimmick. It comes with a see-through cap so you can watch your beverage whirl around even when it's covered. It all happens at the push of a button at the top of the handle, but just be sure you steer clear of it when you go to take a drink.

The Gevalia Stir Mug takes two AA batteries and sells for $19, or get two for $33.

Now that is what I call technology. If my child got me one of these, I wouldn't say "Am I lazy?" I would say "Alright, way to go boy!" Finally, something for fathers day, other than the way-cool ties I get! This is awesome and I can sit back and just watch it spin. finally, something to do while I'm cramped on the bus w/ my other fellow, I can't afford gas riders!

These are great, until the second time you want to use them. The mechanism frequently acquires gunky build-up, particularly with hot chocolate, and is incredibly difficult to clean out. Mine was rendered an incredibly expensive normal cup after only 1 use.

Neat technology, needs refinement before it's practical.
