DVICE TV: Light-up panties shine in high-tech fashion show

When technology and fashion merge, the results are often eye-catching, occasionally provoking and sometimes totally mental. For every tacky LED-embedded jacket there's a transforming dress that completely blows your mind. Such high-tech fashion is a regular occurrence at Eyebeam Art & Technology Center in New York City, which recently invited designers to create some upgraded wearables we've never seen before.

They succeeded. In our exclusive look at the Eyebeam show above, get bombarded with inflatable dresses, light-up underwear and mood shoes (!) designed by students. One of them is even the creation of a Project Runway contestant. Fierce.

stupid.

I find myself more a fan of Vanessa than the tech she shows off... is that bad? Beautiful, Vanessa!

Vanessa is SOOOooo.... Hot!!! Would have been nice to see more of her in this vid, too bad we couldn't see her model the talking panties

Except, maybe for the Asian designer, are girls dumb enough to put a electronic device on their body made by "designers">

Diana Eng doesn't add to the fashion scene, she only gets invited to events because she's the token nerd.

Damn, I miss the puffy blouses!

I love the skirt and shirt. I think women from their 20's on up can actually wear that.

This video made me realize that when you mix tech and fashion together nothing good can come of it.
