BlueLounge CableBox is like a black hole for cable clutter

BlueLounge-CableBox-inside-shot.jpg
If you trip whenever you try to walk anywhere near your desk or entertainment center, then you've got a problem there my friend. Luckily, rehab is quick and easy in the form of the CableBox by BlueLounge.

The CableBox is like a home for your surge protector, and it has a high ceiling that'll let you stuff any excess length of wire under its roof. Just thread the cables through the rectangular outlets at either end that should accommodate cords of varying thicknesses. Rubber feet at its base keeps it from slipping, and its light, box design allows it to stack-or-be-stacked around your workspace.

The CableBox costs $30, and that's probably a lot cheaper than the medicals bills your trippy cords cause.

Check out the gallery below for more shots of the BlueLounge CableBox, as well as some before-and-after images.

Is there anyone daft enough to pay someone $30 for a white plastic box?

Idea is fine, use simmiler myself, white plastic box with custom holes in it suited to my needs, $1.

This is cool, not bad for $30.
Stumbled!

hopefully there isn't a lot of heat buildup from all the wasteful transformers in there that thing. That can be potentially bad for getting the right amount of juice from a transformer (possible melting of components). I've been meaning to create something that manages the clutter while allowing me to turn off the strip when not using all of my games consoles and electronics. (eg wasted electricity).

Excellent replacement for the shoe box, I've been using for ages. The price is not too bad either, given the obvious simplicity of making such a thing. I wounder how safe it is to use such a box, since a lot of transformes emmit heat? (Don't remind me about my shoe box)

A 30$ plastic box = FAIL
build the power bar into it slap some PC case fans on the end and you would have something worth 30$, this plastic box as is is a fire trap.

This would prevent the aggravation of the cat walking on the power strip on/off button and turning off my computer at inopportune times.

Is this a late april fools joke?
A plastic box with holes in it for 30$ WOW What a Great Deal! So Smart what a great Idea! OMGOSHNESS
How did this make it here? Kevin Hall????
1) Expensive
2) Fire hazard
3) Still has billion cords running out of it.
4) It's 1$ plastic
5) It's a box
6) It has holes in it.

Don't most of those plugs get hot ... hmm, let's see: miscellaneous electrical items + constricted, overcrowded living conditions + sheathed in plastic = a frantic call to the nearest fire station.
