Let’s take a quick look around the world of crazy watches, with one a real product and two design concepts that might turn a head or two in a few years. First, above we have the Orbit Watch, a design concept aimed at Swatch that smoothes out the form and function of timekeeping. Pick your stylish colors, and the length of each glossy bar corresponds to hours, minutes and seconds.
Wait, there’s more. Hit continue.

This is a real product, the $297 CECT Watchphone with a keypad on the strap. It packs the tech inside its diminutive form factor, with an MP3 player, FM radio, MPEG4 video playback and a cellphone with 150 minutes of talk time on a charge. Oh yeah, it’ll also tell you the time of day.

From the sublime to the morbid, this Timex Life Index Watch is a design concept created by none other than Timex itself, counting the days until you leave this green earth. More of a biometric monitoring device than a watch, this patch displays your fitness and stress level, sleep, nutrition, and maybe a lot of other personal stuff. If you’re protecting your privacy, don’t wear this on your sleeve, even though it is nicely designed.
