Personally, when choosing a pair of speakers for my home theater setup, I'd probably put the emphasis on how they sound. But hey, different strokes for different folks, right? Some people might be more interested in looks for whatever reason, and for them there are the PS 3 Custom Edition speakers.

These bad boys look like they were just pulled off the floor at a local contemporary art gallery in the late 80s, but if that's your thing, more power to you. Just expect to pay a serious amount for these things. They're "custom editions," after all! But hey, you can't put a price on good taste. Obviously.
