When it comes to the fanciest of fancy cocktails, everything is important, and not just the booze. Sure, you want top-shelf hooch in there, but what about the ice? You're not just going to dump any old crappy ice cubes into that $18 cocktail, are you? You need something much classier.
Like a perfect sphere of ice, for example. A Japanese company has introduced a new press that makes said spheres. Simply put in a chunk of ice, and as it melts the device closes around it forming a ball. When you flip it open, it reveals a perfect sphere with no seams. So classy! Just make sure you're using good water, heaven forbid if tap water touches your whiskey.
