NES Zapper lamp gets retro right
I think I'd be perfectly happy decorating my apartment solely with objects from my child hood. I'd be even happier if they were all video-game-related objects because, frankly, video games played a pretty serious role in my childhood.
That's why I'm a big fan of this awesome Nintendo Zapper lamp. It uses an original NES Zapper along with a Duck Hunt cartridge and a homemade Duck-Hunt-themed shade to make the sweetest retro lamp ever. Now all I need is a Zelda-themed bed and I'll be all set.

Hey, that's my lamp! Thanks! Just a heads up, the base is actually made by hand as well! A regular cartridge was too small, so I made a 1.5 scale replica out of cardboard, weighted with stones. :) I'm hoping to make some more game themed lamps over the summer to stick on eBay as well, so who knows- you could be on your way to getting your apartment furnished! ;)

While I appreciate the effort put into this... *whisper* it's very ugly.
