Folding grill makes burgertime always a few moments away

folding-grill.jpgSummertime is almost here, and you know what that means: grill season! It's time to celebrate warm weather and longer days by torching hunks of meat in your yard. It's the American way! But what if you don't want to have a big, hulking grill cluttering up your yard? Well, that's what the folding grill is for.

The folding grill lives up to its name, folding up into a thin, portable object that you can tuck away when you aren't cooking burgers and hot dogs. Which, let's be honest, probably won't be all that often, but hey, it's nice to have the option to put it away if you really want to.

I have one of these since last year.
It's portable all right, but it was a pain to clean.
Mine looked aluminium-coloured so you can definitely see all the fat drippings that was left behind. Not cleaning this was NOT an option, :)

Having a portable grill was great when driving an OTR truck. When stuck in a far-off city with not much choice in eateries, just break out the grill, cover it with foil and have a cookout with other drivers contributing to the menu. This could be more common now that the fuel is so outrageous.
