Desk fans are often painfully functional in their appearance — something you regretfully pull out when the weather gets warm, but are all too happy to put away come fall if only to get rid of the eyesore of spinning blades within a metal mesh. Not so the Fitzgerald. With an Art Deco-inspired frame, the three-speed fan will give any room some high style in addition to high winds.

The 8-foot power cord gives makes finding a spot for the fan easier. But if there's still no good spot on your desk, you can mount it on a wall. The $270 asking price is a bit steep, but for all the mileage you'll get from the "Art Deco really blows" pun, it's kind of worth it.

What a clumsy pun. "fan" get it ?
The motion of the hand-held fan is different from a motor fan. This would irritate.
