Double-ended jar provides access to the last bit of peanut butter

easy_pb.jpgOh, I love me some peanut butter. It's nature's candy, making all foods taste better. Heck, it's even a great snack on its own. A couple of spoonfuls of peanut butter is better than any energy bar you could throw at me. But what about when your jar is almost empty? It's next to impossible to really clean it out.

That's not true if your peanut butter is in one of these brilliant double-ended jars. You can open it on either end, allowing you to get at the protein-packed globules of deliciousness no matter what. You'll finally be able to eek that last sandwich worth of peanut butter out of the jar before moving on to a new one, and all will be right with the world.

That would actually be useful if you are a health nut and buy natural peanut butter that you have to scoop out of a big tub at the store.

I'll bet a very pliable scraping spatula does just as good a job, for a lot less money. At least it always works for me... More fun to lick the excess off of the scraper too.

do you know where i can purchase this jar?

I suppose it's good for getting the last bit, but what about all of the peanut butter that will be stuck to both lids? It also seems a bit excessive, because the amount of plastic needed to make the extra lid would counter any benefit from getting another tablespoon of peanut butter, both because of the expense and because of general wastefulness.

GREAT IDEA! Thats what I thought when I got a patent on this idea July 18,2007 :-) My drawings were detailed and on file with the US Patent Office.
