Call me crazy, but didn't pocket watches fall out of style about 70 years ago? I mean, I'm no historian, but I don't remember the last time I saw somebody bust a pocket watch out of their vest pocket. But hey, that's not to say they don't hold a special place in fashion history. I just don't know if the pocket watch is the object that's most deserving of a technological overhaul.
Well, too bad for me! The Cobalt is a pocket watch stuffed with fancy gadgetry, including text messaging, email, a calendar, and yes, a clock. Of course, since there's no keyboard or anything, you can't respond to emails or texts. If you get one, I guess you can read it on your watch, put the watch back in your pocket, take your phone out of another pocket and respond. Boy, how intuitive!

Actually when pagers started having clocks the pocket watch concept came back. We moved to cell prones. I can't remember the last time I wore a watch. I just check the time on my cell. The Modern day pocket watch. IMHO they are much more popular then the pocket watch ever was.

it would be a trend setter if it comes with all the latest stuff like GPS, mp3 player etc.

I've carried a pocket watch for the last decade or so, and I'd really like something like this.

I haven't used a wristwatch for years; when I was working in restaurants it was a way to stop checking the time, and you really couldn't have your cell on all the time. So something like this would be great! I'd look into it!

Why not put a small keypad into the door of the thing? You can then reply to texts with it.

How do you select options??...is it a touch screen or what?...either way, it's a fun gadget.
Oh P.S. You forgot it's a thermometer...
