T-1000 is a phone jammer, not a Terminator
The T-1000 is a cellphone jammer that looks like an old-school cellphone. Much like how the T-1000 from Terminator 2 obliterated the Governator, the T-1000 cellphone jammer will obliterate cellphone signals. The T-1000 can block phone communication within a 3- to 10-foot area of effect. If you want to be really obnoxious, pretend to talk on the phone while you're using it, watching everyone around you shaking their phones and yelling, "Hello? HELLLLO?!". It's available for $240, but buy at your own risk because there's a good chance using it would be totally illegal.

See, this isn't a good thing. The reason that movie theaters don't have cell jammers installed is because people like doctors need to be available, even during a movie. Do you really want some idiot blocking the cell phone of your pregnant wife's doctor?

Would be nice to keep drivers off of their cells, but with only a ten foot range it doesn't seem very useful.

Civilization got this far without the burning need for cell phones ever second of the day. Poor-baby doctors can use beepers, just like they did before, and many still do. I think jamming cell phones is a great idea. There are some other ones I've seen that have a 30 ft range. There are also DIY plans for making your own. NO ONE is doing anything that is that critical to existence that they can't do without a cell phone. We did ok without them for at least 1900 years and people are obviously too stupid to use them considerately now.
