Great! A way to tag those rude drivers that have an over-abundance of road rage. I could mount this on the roof of my car and use the remote to aim a shot at the obnoxious offender. Now if only the fuzz will recognize, stop and cite those that are tagged with safety neon orange splotches.

Now all somebody has to do is mount a rifle up to it and they have a wireless sniper mount with of course a camera to help them aim. =(

kizer: there are already those out, specially made for the job. I doubt anyone would bother trying with this. Also, the stand wouldn't be able to cope with the recoil from the rifle ;)

Well this is a fantastic way to earn yourself a lawsuit. Shooting unwilling participants outside of a controlled field with a paintball gun can easily be considered assault with a deadly weapon along with a laundry list of other charges. I love playing paintball, but those markers can injure you permanently if you don't have proper protective wear on your face.
Either this was intended for the PB field and the person who wrote this article is just an idiot OR these were intended for neighborhood defense and both the person who wrote this article and the creator of this product are idiots. That's pretty much the only two ways I can interpret this story.

If you look at our site, no where do we condone shooting at children or any person for that matter, that is not wearing the proper protective equipment. This turret is intended ONLY for Paintball fields, where all participants are properly protected. Shoooting the turret from a moving vehicle or in public or on private property for home defense is highly illegal and not encouraged.

Add some non-lethal, mace filled paintballs or the like already in use and you have a very potent anti-graffiti, mob dispersal, etc. tool for law enforcement and security applications, not to mention scaring off unwanted solicitors.

lol people are far to serious these days I'm sure your not going to aim at school kid well i think I'm sure. now just add a step motor on the base of the turret lay a couple of IR beams around ....
