Now here's an interesting combo of gadgets: a radio with a removable MP3 player built in. The player is designed to record from the radio so you can listen to it from wherever you are. It's an interesting device, one that fans of talk radio should see the use of, allowing them to record Don Imus for later listening away from the drivetime hours.
Similar devices for satellite radio fans already exist, and one has to wonder why the MP3 player doesn't include an FM tuner of its own. But hey, for a simple product with a singular mission, it should suit those who'd need it well.

I've been recording my radio shows for later listening for years (WAV, MP3 and WMA) using an old RadioShark (http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/radioshark). Think I paid about the same price as this unit. The nice thing is that I can hook it up via USB to a PC or Mac and schedule recordings for all my favorite shows.
