Panasonic rolls out Viera mobile TV for tube fanatics
As the 1Seg broadcast trend continues to catch on in Japan, watching television on the go has become increasingly common. Serving the emerging niche Panasonic has introduced its new Viera P905iTV handset that mimics the form factor of devices like the iPod Touch and the PSP but does a lot more. The device offers a 2 megapixel camera with image stabilizer and autofocus, TV and audio out ports, HSDPA connectivity, an SDHC memory card slot, and sports a 3.5-inch color widescreen display at 854 x 480 resolution. Oh, and it's a cell phone, too. The mini-TV will fry your brain with boob tube images for up to 6 hours, but for now this is only available in Japan, so you'll have to wait a bit longer for your mobile TV fix.
