Liquid cooled shirt keeps drivers from boiling over

Driving a car in a toasty place like Texas during the summer would be no fun if your air conditioning were on the fritz, that is unless you had a Cool Shirt. The catch is that at around $300, it would probably be cheaper to simply fix the car's a/c. Where the Cool Shirt really comes into its element is for race car drivers, who often lose several pounds just in sweat during the course of a race. The Cool Shirt circulates icy chilled water around the shirt via a portable refrigeration unit about the size of a medium picnic cooler, while some versions can also duct cooled fresh air directly into the driver's helmet.
