Javabot is one elaborate way to make a cup of coffee

javabot.jpgSome people are just nuts about coffee. Personally, I don't really get it, but as long as their obsession with coffee doesn't infringe on whatever I'm doing, that's fine with me. For those people who live and die by the bean, they've got a new high to strive for: the Javabot.

This monstrosity is a room-filling coffee machine, featuring 13 clear, tubular bins that hold both roasted and unroasted beans. When a cup of coffee is called for, it sucks up the appropriate beans, grinds them, and brews them up automatically. What comes out is, presumably, worth all the pomp and circumstance. At the end of the day, however, it's still just coffee, and it's still just a delivery method for caffeine to keep you awake at your desk. I'm just saying, is all.
