Grobal self-watering planters prevent crimes against plants

gro1_5784.jpg

Now that spring if officially starting to creep its way in, its time to start thinking about not committing plant genocide this year and one way to do so is with a self-watering planter like this one. The Grobal planter looks pretty standard at first, but inside of the planter its not so standard. It includes a reservoir that stores water and is capable of watering the plants, automatically, in a sense.

The "grow chamber" draws water out of the reservoir when needed, therefore keeping the plant alive and not wasting water in the process. It's available in a variety of colors and sells for $20. Included in the kit is soil, plant food and an instruction book. It does require a little bit of work because you have to refill the water reservoir on occasion.
