Ergonomic cup design conforms to shape of your lips
Finally, somebody designs a coffee cup that takes into account that human beings will actually be drinking from it. Most mugs have a rim that’s so fat, even a horse’s lips couldn’t keep the coffee from spilling, but designer Jinhong Lin fixed that problem with his clever design concept.
Many of the designs we show you are far-fetched, and may never be available, but this one would be easy to do. If it's ever produced, at long last, ergonomics might come into play for those of us with recurring coffee stains on our shirts. Cup and mug designers, take note.

About 12 years ago I was in England on business and had the opportunity to visit Harrods, the immense department store in London. I purchased 4 bone china coffee/tea mugs that had lacquered scenes from different areas of England. Being made of bone china, the lip of the mug is thin and looks exactly like this one. They are our favorites to drink from for the very reasons stated here. This design is not new by any means.
