In Mad Max, Lord Humongous and his men rolled around wearing whatever they could find, from paintball masks to leather jackets and next to nothing. We won't have to worry about scavenging when the mushroom clouds start blooming — designer Diddo Velema, with Gucci and Luis Vuitton, will have us wearing gas masks made from the finest materials and studded with diamonds.

Diddo Velema's gas masks were part of the Luxury Show 2008 in Bucharest, Romania, and you probably can't get your hands on one unless you are very, very rich.
