Di Grisogono Meccanica DG watch is digital, but isn't
At first glance, this is a digital watch. But wait just a second. The Di Grisogono Meccanica DG is all mechanical, mocking the digital zeitgeist with its segmented numerals, which are all gussied up in neon-green paint and fooling us big-time.
If all that ersatz-digital tomfoolery is not quite enough for you, there’s still an analog dial at the top, a tribute to us codgers who can still tell time.
Could this limited edition of 651 watches signal a renaissance of analog clockwork, perhaps even convincing those who use cell phones to tell time to adorn their wrists with all things ticking and mechanical? Time will tell.
