With this being Earth Week and all, Dell decided to get in on all the eco-fun with its smallest PC yet. This one’s wrapped up in a renewable bamboo case that looks stylish, rounded, and smooth. Its innards are made of recycled stuff, but we’re hoping you won’t see any evidence of the bottles, jugs, and containers this baby’s made of.
Dell CEO Michael Dell showed off this eco-PC at Fortune's Brainstorm: Green Conference for Earth Day, proudly proclaiming the tiny PC, which he says is 81 percent smaller than the standard beige box, will be for sale sometime this year for somewhere between $500 and $700. Now that’s what we like: going green without sacrifice.
Add this to your bamboo mouse and bamboo speaker, and you’ll have a totally renewable system. Or just keep the setup you have twice as long, and there’s no renewing necessary, at least for a while.
