The NE apartment building is a stylish approach to a motorcycle-centric living solution by Japanese architects Yuji Nakae, Akiyoshi Takagi and Hirofumi Ohno. It features eight apartments separated by seven concrete walls, all of which are accessed by adjacent doors along the inside of the C-shaped structure.

Each two-story apartment also has its own space for a motorcycle, which you can ride on into since the building connects right to the road. The C-shape allows for a courtyard spacious enough that motorcycles can be rotated in the alley, too.

Now, you may be starting to wonder: What about all that noise from the bikes? The inside walls and thick exterior windows are all designed with soundproofing in mind, though there may be nothing that can be done if all seven of your neighbors love choppers.
