$2,300 iCoral iPod dock is taking this trend too far

copulare-icoral-ipod-dock-apple-zune-coral-cable.jpg

Nowadays you can't walk around a busy area, college campus or get on a train or bus without seeing those familiar white earbuds. Yes, iPods are popular and we all know it, but when a company like Copulare decides to legitimately produce a $2,300 iPod dock, then things have gone a little to far.

The iCoral is an iPod dock available in black or white. It will support any iPod with a dock connector, and the big kicker is that the unit has a coral top. The coral top supposedly enhances the audio quality by absorbing vibrations. I won't deny that this iPod dock definitely looks snazzy, but surely there are better things to drop four figures on, like, you know, car down payments and such.
