Look, I'm all for sustainable housing and eco-building, but we've got to be sensible here. Spending $15 million on a house shaped like a bee hive because it's "eco friendly" is kind of insane. Sure, it's sitting on a beautiful estate with 550 acres of land that's overflowing with nature's bounty, but come on. $15 million?
For your money you'll get a house that produces more energy than it uses, which will save you money on your monthly utility bills. Not enough to make up for the initial price, but still. It'll use geothermal heating to get the job done, which is a unique aspect to a private home. But seriously … $15 million?

Eco House Definition:
An old one which you moved into, which you fix up, and try to keep the heat down in.

I really, really like this place. But I don't think it's worth $15 million dollars. It also doesn't seem that large, but that's not a problem, it's big enough for me if I could afford it without working 24/7 for the rest of my life and still not be able to pay for it completely.

I really like all these 'eco' friendly projects that they place in the middle of nowhere. But with a price tag of $15, I guess only people with a chopper would be able to buy this anyway. Then just flying back and forth to work in the city..thats real 'eco' friendly.
