SRS solar roofing tiles let you embrace your hippie values without looking like a treehugger

SRSsolartiles.jpg

I've never understood why some people feel that green friendly devices like wind turbines and solar panels are eyesores. We should celebrate those who embrace alternative energy, and I think it's cool when people think green. Still, some homeowner's associations have banned roof mounted solar panels. But I wonder how they could stop you if nobody knows you have them?

These so called 'hammer and nails' roofing tiles from SRS Energy look just like traditional premium roofing tiles, and are installed using a standard nail gun. Hidden connections transfer the generated power between the tiles, while identical looking inactive tiles are also available to fill in where needed. These are photovoltaic panels that generate electricity, rather than the thermal type used for heating water.
