Soundwagon 'record player' takes the groove less traveled

Records have always been popular in the audiophile world, where fanatics will spend thousands of dollars on a fancy turntable, but if you're of modest means, there's a more affordable option: the Soundwagon is an oldie-but-a-goodie "record player" that was reinvented as the "Vinyl Killer" in the '90s, and its popularity just keeps on rolling.

This miniature VW van has a battery-powered motor, rubber wheels, and a stylus on the bottom to keep it rolling as it circles on the grooves of the record. A speaker on the back of the bus keeps the party moving. Generation YouTube is taking the Soundwagon on all sorts of interesting journeys, so if you want to hear what the Beasties sound like through a plastic speaker, just tune in.
