Single Person Cooker spearheads a slew of radical household designs

The Single Person Cooker is is portable kitchen — everything about its design helps you cook on the go or in a tight space. It's lid is actually a cutting board, and the unit has a space for cooking utensils, a heated range, bowls and a Wi-Fi enabled viewer that will allow the chef to pull in recipes from the Internet.
The Single Person Cooker is a design by Alex Bradley, and one of 31 entries in the Daily Mail Ideal Home Show Concept Products competition. Check out the gallery below for DVICE's favorites of the lot, and vote for your favorite at the Concept Products website, linked after the jump.

The portable kitchen is pretty neat. Might be good if you travel a lot, though I imagine most hotels would have rules against using something like this.
The Take-Away-Sink is lame. If you need to take water somewhere else, use a bucket or something. That's basically what it looks like anyway.
The TV packaging stand is cool. So you can use the packaging materials used to protect the TV during shipping as the TV stand. I can only see it as a temporary stand, unless you really like the gray packaging foam look.
The solar sill is ok. When I first looked at the picture, I thought the solar sill was that white end table thing. Then I noticed the solar panel outside the window.
The rolling shelves are ok. I can understand times where you have something tall you want to store away, but you can't find a good place because other shelves are in the way. But I don't think this is something I would buy.
The RWC bathroom furniture would maybe save plumbing but probably wouldn't save floor space. I mean, you'd obviously want room in front of both the toilet and sink. And you'd probably want a little elbow room on either side of you, so this thing would probably have to sit in the middle of a room. Though I suppose you could maybe have 2 adjacent restrooms, have 2 of these RWC things, imbed the pedestal parts into the wall so that each restroom has a sink side and a toilet side facing toward it...
The Newton's Breakfast thing is lame, though I think most table centerpieces are lame.
The Hamster Shredder is interesting. If you're going to line the hamster cage with shredded paper anyway, might as well make the cage a shredder. It's hard to tell from the image, is the hamster shredder hamster powered?
The Elevated Spoon is ok. I might want to move the "lift" part closer to the... spoon part of the spoon? What's the proper term for that? The bowl part? Anyway, I think that moving that "lift" might make it easier on the hands when grabbing the handle and, if the spoon is full (but who would do that anyway?), it would be less likely to tip.
The Broom Coat Rail is just stupid. It's ugly and you'd have to take down all the coats and hooks to use the broom.
The Beat Blinds... Well, they look like nice wooden blinds with thick slats on them. It's the whole "Beat" thing that I think is stupid. "Hey, guys! Look at me! I can play my blinds like a xylophone!"

The "personal cooker" looks interesting, but I need to cook at least TWO PEOPLE at a time when I'm entertaining.

I wonder does WAG really cook people?

The hamster shredder isn't useful as a shredder since you only need so much paper in the hampster cage. Gives a whole new meaning to a six page shredder, you can only shred six or so pieces and then can't use the machine again until you need to change the paper.
The single cooker would be great for a room in a dorm. I can see teens across america checking it off the packing list along with their Ipod, cell and laptop...if it actually works this could be a hit
Broom Coat Rail...I can't believe someone took the time to even take the picture.

I think if they elaborate on the TV stand offering some sort of thin veneer for the outside that it would be an outstanding product. Especially for those in apartments that want to keep the material to protect their video screen but don't really have the extra space to store it.

The outdoor kitchen is my favorite. If you love the outdoors and live in a condo with a deck, but grills is prohibited, you could "cook" outside using this product.

Did you even read the description of the broom coat rail you numpties? It is NOT for use as a broom. The brush is a quality clothes brush that detaches for you to use on your coats to hang on the rail.
