Reef Rider underwater sea scooter looks cool until you read the fine print

Zipping around underwater while being pulled along by a sort of personal mini sub, sounds like a great way to do your own impersonation of James Bond in Thunderball. Just make sure that your henchmen don't dive deeper than 10 feet, or go faster than 2.2 mph, because those are the performance limits of the Reef Rider. Still, I suppose it beats swimming when you're out snorkeling, and at about $200 I'm sure you'll be spending much less than Q did on Bond's version.

Just be sure to wear the wrist strap, in case your hands slip off the handles.

2.2MPH is actually decently fast for underwater. Speeds isn't the point, tho. Conservation of air is. If your using an underwater scooter, you're using less oxygen, which means your dive will last longer. However, this one is a total failure with that 10' depth limit.
