Nerds have more fun. Here's proof

teslacoil.jpg

Remember those guys in high school who wore the pocket protectors and ran all the AV gear? Well, we might have been laughing at them back then, but now they seem to be having all the fun. Here's a guy called Roger Smith in Chillicothe Ohio, who likes making giant Tesla coils in his garage. Check out what happens when you run about 20 skadillion volts through it.

Waaaa, I want one.

Ouch! LOL.

Hey, we played with Tesla Coils at school. It was really fun. Don't know what everyone else was doing, getting laid I suspect. But I'm sure we were having a better time.

You're just jealous. Admit it.

The bigger Tesla coils are crazy cool though. They're like giant, noisy lava lamps (that can kill you).

I don't like this guy one bit... it's strange, forbidden experiments like this which give way to super-villains. Dr.Doom, anyone?

I think Rog has taken a few too many hits from his coil.

He should have delivered his entire monologue while wearing a Mexican luce mask.

I've never been so jealous! I haven't worked with Tesla coils in a long time, but this makes me wanna mess around with them again. It is equivalent to getting laid by a clean Asian hooker. Good stuff Roger!

Look at him bragging about his big tesla coil...lucky bastard

This guy's like Jeff Goldblum in the fly... after he's merged with the fly

If this was in a movie, everyone would be criticising the "special effects"... it looks really odd.

Damn! Forget the common privacy fence and install some Tesla coils to keep those damn kids out of your yard!

That guy should be a ventriloquist.
