MotionPortrait and Flash together result in uncanny interactive realism

We’ve heard of MotionPortrait before, that software that animates still photos, turning them into moving, smiling and talking 3D models. But we haven’t seen an example of it used like this, where a nearly lifelike model is animated in Flash and follows your cursor around the screen like it’s a fly on the wall. We're not sure why her eyes are so red — gal, get yourself more sleep! Maybe she's been up all night following cursors.

Creepy. The eyes are...

Reminds me of the SG-1 episode "Window of Opportunity", where the sorry dude with a motion photo of his dead wife kept playing time over and over again. Only creepier - imagine the crime scene photos...
