Lush Efferverscent Bath Bomb — the best bath experience around?

Lush-Effervescent-Bath-Bomb.jpgHannah Schardt of the Washington Post says that the "Geo Phyzz" bath bomb by Lush made for one of the best bath experiences she's ever enjoyed — but there's a catch. Lush's bath bombs are only good for one bath and cost $7 a pop. It begs the question, just how much is your bath experience worth to you?

Wonder what it might feel like? From the review in the Post: "The bath bomb fizzed away, emitting a stream of bubbles and a luscious, woodsy scent... The bubbles lasted several minutes, and even when they stopped, I was left relaxing in my warm, murky haven, my skin soft and smelling like cypress. Bliss."

Lush bath bombs are definitely the best brand I've tried. None of the cheaper ones compare. However, they are a bit too expensive to use often.

Lush products fascinate me... but I have never been able to talk myself into buying some. They're just too expensive and, really, I don't think a $7 bath is worth it. I can think of many other ways to spend that money. I keep hoping someone will buy me something from Lush, so that I won't feel I threw money away :D

The only time I could ever talk myself into buying bath bombs was for Lush's big year end sale. I really shouldn't have because now I'm hooked. The bath bombs, all of them not just the Geo Phyzz, are amazing and really pamper your skin. The bath bars do a pretty good job of that too, are $5 to $6, and you can just use a small chunk of it, so if you're worried about the price I'd go for a bubble bar. However if your honey is planning a smecial romantic night anytime soon I'd heavily hint that he/she should go out and get a bath bomb.

Kind reminds me of the Super Mario Bath Bombs.

I wasn't that impressed with Lash's bath bombs.
They're nice, but too expensive for my tastes.

Although many claim that they are expensive, running at $7 each, I like my Lush bath because I know exactly what I'm getting in them, and that the source ingredients have been obtained from local and/or fair trade sources. Sure, anyone can make a bath bomb, but I can't imagine going to the craft store to make my own and having no idea where my ingredients were sourced from. :S
