The Guitar Hero series of games is insanely popular, and with good reason: they're super fun! They let you pretend to be a rock star, playing along with your favorite games on a simplified guitar controller. It's awesome. The only problem is that with all that specialized equipment, they could never port the games to handheld systems. No more!

Take a look at this ingenious setup for the upcoming Nintendo DS version of the game. Featuring a special controller that lets you hold the DS like a book and placing the strum bar on the touchscreen, it'll let you play your favorite music game from anywhere. Sure, it's completely unlike playing a real guitar, but tapping a series of colored buttons never was all that similar to the real thing anyways. Why fight it?
