DVICE TV: How to find a Nintendo Wii Fit in the U.S. …or you could just win ours
The Nintendo Wii has been the go-to game console of the people ever since it came out... jeez, almost a year and half ago. It's obviously great for casual gaming, but could it be even more? Nintendo has high hopes that the Wii can win over the Bowflex set, creating an accessory that turns the Wii into a home gym: the Wii Fit. Available in Japan since December, the Wii Fit is scheduled for a spring release Stateside.
We couldn't wait that long. Determined to check out the Wii Fit early, we went to Chinatown in New York City to search for a Japanese version. Mission accomplished. But is it any good? Vanessa has the verdict — watch the video for our exclusive review of Nintendo's most anticipated release of 2008. And...

Wow. I want a Wii Fit quite badly...but not nearly as badly as Brawl and Mario Kart Wii.
And yes, the girl in this video is quite stunning...I loved the end of the shop scene where you get to see her shake her arse for a while...heh...

I think it's safe to assume, that Vanessa is developing a following. It's not just because she's do darn cute, but because she's dorky, uh, I mean funny. As for the Wii Fit, I doubt I'll be standing in line for this one. I may hold off until Christmas. It looks fun, but if the price point is similar when it debuts, that's a whole lot of ouch.

Sweet merciful crap, I hate lame spokes-models on websites... I lived in New York and I never seen that underground shopping mall in Chinatown. Where is it? Vanessa must be a short woman (under 60 inches tall) and about 110 pounds. If the Wii Fit hasn't "arrived" to U.S. shores, how did Vanessa get that one in Chinatown?

Uh Ray, they were pretty specific that it's the Japanese version, not a US one. You can get anything in Chinatown. As someone that claims to have lived here in NY, you should know that.
