BT2 monitor keeps close, real close, tabs on employees

exmocare-bt2-wristband copy.jpg

The BT2 monitor is a device worn on the wrist by individuals that keeps tabs on all kinds of internal vital functions at any given time. It is made by Exmocare and the intended purpose is to give employers the ability to keep track of employees on the fly to perhaps maximize efficiency.

The BT2 monitor relays information to a central computer that an employer has access to. I'm having a hard time finding the fine line between practicality and Big Brother-ness. This type of a device has to infringe on some kind of rights, but then again it could be very helpful with specific occupations such as construction, coal mining and more. Personally, I think it would be a little more useful in the health industry, but who am I to judge Exmocare's intentions?

Elliot Spitzer's wife will be ordering one to keep track of the bareback banger. "What do these vital signs mean? What is he doing now?"
