Either way we're impressed with how fluidly this 'bot keeps itself in motion by moving its whole body. It'd be interesting to know just what calculations it's making — does it simply repeat its movements on a set schedule, or can it detect which way it's swinging and react accordingly?
A commenter over at BotJunkie posted a translation of the description on the video, which is written in Japanese: "This is just for fun. All the robot does his whole life is eagerly swing."
