Why is it gaming PCs always have to be the craziest-looking machines to ever be sold at Best Buy? Who decided that people who enjoyed PC games also wanted a gigantic computer that looks like it was stolen off the set of the new Star Trek movie? Maybe gamers would like a simple, subtle PC that doesn't stand out? If so, they aren't gonna like ASUS's new ARES CG6150, that's for sure.
This thing is the opposite of subtle. Sporting all sorts of crazy angles and lights, it looks like a spaceship of some kind. But it's what's inside that counts, right? Well, look for a Core 2 Extreme CPU, up to 8GB of RAM, three-card SLI Nvidia support, up to 4TB of hard-disk space, liquid cooling, and a price tag that could buy you a fully-staffed mansion in a tropical nation. No official pricing or release info is available as of yet.
