World's tallest arch bridge being built in Dubai next month

dubaibridge.jpgOh Dubai, you're such a crazy place. With more money than you know what to do with, you never stop trying to create the biggest and the craziest of every structure under the sun. The latest plan? To build the world's largest arch bridge.

The mile-long bridge will be 670 feet tall at its highest point, which is really, really tall. It'll have a whopping 12 lanes of traffic with a metro line running down the center and will be able to carry over 2,000 vehicles per hour. Costing $817 million to build, it's certainly not a cheap undertaking, but that hasn't stopped anyone in Dubai before. Construction is set to begin next month, and it'll be completed in 2012.

I'm an emaratian ..which means that I'm A UAE citizen .. and I live in Dubai .. it's an honor that those projects are built in my country. Dubai so far is without any doubt the best place I've ever seen !
