Digital Force Technologies makes a lot of fun doodads: remote observation equipment, satellite imagery-enhanced GPS devices, voice recognition systems for vehicles. Oh, and grappling hook launchers.
The T-PLS is described as a "pneumatically launched tactical line-throwing system" by DFT, and would probably do Batman proud if it wasn't so big (it's nearly four feet long). It fires a titanium grappling hook with a 7 mm thick Kevlar line, and it's adjustable 350 psi has enough for to launch it 120 vertical feet. It's billed as being pretty quiet, too, so you can scale on the sly.
Well, we're sold. Unfortunately, the T-PLS isn't — not out in the open. You have to be someone special (read: the military) to get one, I'll bet.

Wow, finally my very own grappling hook. In case I happen to fall into an abandon mine shaft, which could happen.

In the Adam West Batman TV show it was called a "Batzooka".

Judging from the double trigger, I'd guess this is based on a modified paintball marker (gun). So, you can't buy it, but a skilled smith could probably make one.
