The NEC Palette: If the iPhone was hit with outer space gamma rays
One last look at the NEC concept gadget lab yields us this War of the Worlds style mobile device called the Palette. With a built-in color LCD monitor, a transparent onscreen keyboard and an array of bubbly menu buttons, the Palette is designed to function as the ultimate multimedia device that automatically uploads your new content to that server cloud in the sky. This is clearly the direction the iPhone is eventually headed in, but NEC might want to rethink the awkward and completely creepy alien-esque camera currently sitting atop the device.
