Sweetpea 3 lets the diaper set groove to their own MP3s

SweetPea3.jpg

Imagine you're 1, lying there in your crib, and bored with the various stuffed animals and squeaky toys your parents leave for your supposed amusement. Surely some rockin' tunes would liven up the place? While grown-up iPods and the like are a definite no-no with their choking hazard earbuds and strangling cords, the Sweetpea 3 was designed to be lil' kid friendly, with a built in speaker, special kid-proof volume control, and no small parts to break off. While the 'four hour' song capacity seems a little limiting, most kids have no problem hearing the same songs 56 times in a day.

The Sweetpea 3 is available now, in pink and blue of course, for about $90.

If this thing has a four hour song capacity wouldn't that mean the kid would listen to the same song six times in one day instead of fifty six? And that is assuming the kid listens to it non-stop, which I'm pretty sure any normal parent would prevent. By my calculations that thing can fit about 75 songs on it with about a total of 250MB of space. That ain't bad for a three year old.
