Speed up your grocery trips with a rocket powered shopping cart

RocketCart.jpg

I'll confess that I hate shopping. Nothing to me is more boring than meandering the aisles of the local Stop 'n' Shop, comparing the prices of name brand vs generic waxed beans.

Andy Tyler from Beccles, England must feel the same way, but he's done something about it. First he built a gas and liquid fuel pulse jet from scratch using instructions he found online, then he strapped it onto a shopping cart he found in a river. With its 50 mph top speed, you should be able to get through even the biggest Walmart in just a couple of minutes, which is a good thing, seeing as that's about how long the fuel lasts.

Andy Taylor is going to die.

MEDIC911 couldn't be any more correct.

I really like the crumple-zone he incorporated into his designes. All that gas compressed within the tank will act like a pillow, no?

Jeeze, you guys are spot on. He will probably take out some couple with their newborn, a stock clerk refilling the canned peas aisle and a person offering free samples of ham.
Kim Greenblatt

dammit! i love free ham.

at least he had the foresight to wear a helmet...

Heh, he probably made the helmet himself too.

If those boys at Jackass could have had that baby... Woo Hoo!
