Sony has updated their GPS-CS1 with the new GPS-CS1KSP model that comes in essentially the same form factor with just a little more sexy added to the device's housing. The original model was meant to perform as a geo-tagging unit allowing you to track your meanderings and link them back to photographic footage. The new model adds the bonus of Google Maps functionality, a feature that might have been huge for the Japanese device if it wasn't for the fact that Yahoo still rules the search market in Japan. The device is set to go on sale for 15,540 yen ($144) on March 14th.
