Sega Body Trainer offers robotic dictator for slackers
Sega Toys has released a device called the Body Trainer, the only music player that might get you to momentarily step away from your iPod. Sega claims the Body Trainer will boost the effectiveness of your workouts using a monitor that detects your heart rate and adjusts the pace of the music to optimize your routine. You simply enter your age and other vital stats, select your workout (jogging, walking or aerobics) and the Body Trainer will take care of the rest. Although the device looks a little Star Trek-ish, we've seen workout fanatics sporting weirder athletic aids. Scheduled to go on sale in April, you can pick up your Body Trainer for just 5,775 yen ($54) here.
