There's a new show coming out on Japanese television called Ketai Sousakan 7 and, as you might have guess from the massive picture between here and the headline, it features robotic phones as the main characters.

The stars of the show will also join as in the real world as the Toshiba 815T PB. It uses Japan's Softbank service, has a 3.2 megapixel camera and, curiously (as it may mean the phone will be released abroad), is 3G ready. Rumor has it the phones also transform from robot back to a handset.

They come out in Japan in April, though details are sketchy right now as to where else they'll be available, or at what cost.
