Finally, a gadget for composers, at long last

ems_sheetmusic.jpgYou know, there aren't enough gadgets out there designed for conductors. Sure, there aren't all that many of them out there, but they deserve all the convenience that the rest of us desire, don't they? Finally, here's a device designed just for them: the E-Paper Music Score Concept. Yes, it's just a concept, not a real product, but something's better than nothing.

It's essentially a rollable e-ink display that can show sheet music without a musician or conductor needing to carry around a whole notebook. It also has a wireless foot pedal to turn the page automatically when tapped, which keeps those hands free for frantic baton waving and other such activities. It's a neat idea, and one that could surely be adjusted to serve any number of purposes. Not to steal your thunder, conductors.
