Buddy Beacon, the program that has allowed Helio cell phone owners to find each other via GPS on compatible phones, is now expanding its reach to people outside of Helios network. Soon to be available on a variety of networks, Buddy Beacon is about to get a lot more useful when thousands more people get the ability to use it.

In addition, the new version of Buddy Beacon will work with Facebook, allowing you to show your friends just where you are at all times. Yeah, that's pretty creepy, but you know the kids are just going to love it. Enjoy, you privacy-hating kids.
