Despite looking like a technicolor steampunk nightmare, this UV-C room air sanitizer is a very capable device that can kill germs of all types. It uses UV lights to zap 99.9-percent of air-born germs without having to put a single chemical into the air.

The smarties at Harvard were able to determine that UV-C light is a top dog at sanitizing thanks to its ability to alter the DNA molecules cells preventing replication. Influenza-A, Staph, Strep and Tuberculosis are just a few of the diseases that this air sanitizer can beat. It is also very capable of eliminating odors and allergens. The Germ Guardian unit itself is available in six different color for $200 with each replacement bulb tacking on another $30.
