For a lamp that looks like a book, The Enlightenment sure has some lofty goals. Sure, one of them is to, you know, light stuff up. But another is to get you thinking without actually telling you what to think, unlike some other big heavy books out there. And still another is to support education projects run by the Edukans Foundation, which is where 10% of the purchase price of The Enlightenment goes. Not bad for around $130.
